Has God Purified Your Heart Or Hardened It?

Psalms 95:8 Harden not your heart,

Hebrews 3:8 Harden not your hearts, 15b harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Exodus 8:32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go. 9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

Exodus 10:20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.

Pharaoh hardened his own heart repeatedly which resulted in God hardening his heart irreversibly. When God hardened Pharaoh’s heart it was the beginning of his judgement. We mortal men have two options, we can harden our hearts and the Lord will harden them eternally or we can ask the Lord to purify them.

Acts 15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; 9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

There is no one that can purify our hearts like God can. After all He is the One who created them in the first place. The thing unbelievers should fear about God the most is His ability to harden their hearts forever and send them to Hell and then the eternal Lake of Fire. If you are reading this, you have the power to stop the hardening process by simply asking the Lord to purify your heart, which by the way will last forever.
